The purpose of this site is to serve as a helpful and informative tool regarding township business for our Canton Township residents and taxpayers. Trustees approved using Russ Kiko Associates, Auctioneers, to sell equipment and vehicles of the Canton Township Fire Department at an auction to be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 5:30pm at Fire Station No. 4 located at 3525 Lincoln Street East.+ Read More
Appraisal of Fire Department Property
Trustees approved getting 2 appraisals of the Fire Department property located at 3525 Lincoln Street East; one appraisal for the property “as is”, and one appraisal for the property as a vacant lot.+ Read More

The Trustees approved closing the following roads on Saturday, April 27th from 7:00am to 10:00am which is the race route for the Annual Canton South Wildcat Run.+ Read More
City of Massillon Firefighters Training at Former Amos McDannel School
Fire Chief Scott McKibben informed the Board the entire City of Massillon Fire Department is being trained by Canton Township Fire personnel at the Amos McDannel facility.+ Read More
Ironwood Property Deemed a Nuisance
The Board declared 317 Ironwood St SE a nuisance, as deemed by Zoning Director Jonathan Smith, and will have it abated per Ohio Revised Code 505.173 and/or 505.87, and the Canton Township Property Maintenance Code.+ Read More
Property To Be Demolished
The Board approved entering into an agreement with the Stark County Land Reutilization Corporation (SCLRC) through the Stark County Regional Planning Commission for the demolition of 349 Hollywood Ave NE.+ Read More
Assignment of Township Ball Fields:
The Board assigned the township ball fields for the 2013 season as follows: Canton South Girls Fastpitch Softball assigned to Abbott Field and Mikunda Field and the Canton South Boys Baseball assigned to Hamilton Field and Hayhurst Field.+ Read More
Rental of Gym and Various Rooms at the Amos McDannel Facility:
