Road Superintendent Tom Hewitt informed the Board he has sent a letter to Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway asking their assistance to repair the railroad crossing on Mill Street SE. Due to the deterioration of the railroad ties at this location it is becoming very rough. In the past, the township has patched it with blacktop, but it does not hold up on rotted railroad ties.
